What Is Public Works and What Is Its Purpose?

Public Works consists of government agencies, private companies, and individuals dedicated to improving and influencing our way of life.

They are dreamers and doers.

Public works departments deal with the nation’s infrastructure – things that are often taken for granted. They maintain our streets, provide water services (from safe drinking water to wastewater treatment to stormwater and flood control), construct and maintain buildings, run utilities, and much more.

This week is National Public Works Week, and Compliance EnviroSystems would like to say thank you to all of the hardworking public works professionals for advancing the quality of life for all!

We are proud to be an integral part of projects the government builds and maintains that specifically benefit the public.
