CES Employee Spotlight: Nomination for Louisiana Locator of the Year Award

Compliance EnviroSystems, LLC (CES) nominates Joseph McQueen for Louisiana 811’s Locator of the Year Award.

Joseph joined CES in July of 2017 and serves as a cross bore locator for projects in Louisiana. He is proficient in all aspects of sewer evaluation techniques, including but not limited to; cross bore locating, underground utility location, and closed-circuit television inspection. CES crews locate sanitary sewer and gas mainlines and service lines every day in our approach to identifying and mitigating the risk of cross bores. Joseph’s supervisors estimate he completed more than 2,000 locates in 2019, and CES crews as a whole completed approximately 13,000 for the year.

Joseph is highly motivated, pays excellent attention to detail, understands the dangers and hazards with locating, and takes pride in spending the necessary time to instruct others on why it’s critical to be accurate.

“Every job is different and presents its own set of challenges. Joseph adapts and always finds a way to overcome challenges in the field to get the job done,” says James Hagan, CES cross bore project manager.
