LGA Cross Bore Awareness Roundtable
CES Speaking at LGA’s Cross Bore Awareness Roundtable
CES representatives Josh Graham and Nickolas Spano will be participating in the Cross Bore Roundtable at the Louisiana Gas Association (LGA) Annual Operations Conference on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, from 10:30 AM – 11:45 AM at the Holiday Inn – Downtown in Alexandria, LA.
Cross bore locating is an emerging market in the underground utility industry. This new standard to inspect the work of boring contractors has seen more popularity in the Western United States over the past few years.
The cross bore roundtable discussion will be educational, covering a range of topics including a basic overview of cross bores and how they happen, instructions on safety as a priority, lessons learned in the field, and new technology that is answering the call to find and resolve cross bore issues.
Nickolas Spano, CES project manager, and NASSCO PACP trainer is also unveiling NASSCO’s official Specification Guideline for Cross Bore Prevention and Detection.
NASSCO prepared the specification document, and it was peer-reviewed by industry professionals. The guidelines cover general cross bore information, pre-construction, and post-construction inspection processes.
We hope to see you there!
