Laser Inspections
Laser is the most accurate inspection/measuring technology available for use above the water line in pipes.

Laser inspection offers quantitative measurements of defects making accurate, objective interpretation possible, and intelligent, informed decisions for rehabilitation or replacement. Profiling lasers use a sensor to send and receive a beam of light. The time it takes for the beam to return is measured, and the distance is calculated. Software generates a 3D model of the pipe, showing wall loss or buildup, cracks, and other defects.

Projected light ring lasers work by projecting a ring of light the same size as the nominal I.D. of the pipe. CCTV captures the image, and a digital caliper is used to measure distance from the light ring to the wall, or to measure cracks and other defects.

CES offers both light ring projection laser inspections and 3D profiling laser inspections to ensure its clients receive the most complete, cost effective assessments possible.
