CES understands the importance of providing accurate information that will be used for rehabilitating the sewer system. Our data management activities are the most important procedure outside of the actual field services. Data management provides the final quality control check on the information that is collected in the field. This information is transformed into an easy-to-read format used as a rehabilitation tool by our client. As a part of the data management team, all employees have knowledge of different database software and different types of defect coding systems.

Each employee is organized and thorough in the evaluation and handling of the data. At the beginning of every project, the data management coordinator will meet with the project manager and the client to clarify any questions or special needs.

Data Management is separated into the following components:

  • Control of information flow
  • Project specific defect coding (PACP)
  • Client specific database integration
  • CD/tape to digital conversion
  • Detailed final report generation
